Third Day


Dress up and all ready for the day now! :D

Cannot decide what to have for breakfast and we decided to try the KFC 肯德基 here!


We ordered a set each!


燒饼和粥
The 粥 is really good! It was topped with chicken floss which is absolutely the best combination ever.
How come Singapore don't have? :(


At KFC also must cam-whore. Tsk.

And I really love how people of Taiwan people practice to recycle, even in a fast food restaurant.




Even provide diagrams to education native people like us what can be and what cannot be recycled.
Super organized right?


Happy us with a full and bloated tummy. Satisfied!!

And we off to our next location.

We are going to the ZOO ZOO ZOO.

Yah, we visited the Taipei Zoo!


NTD 30 only! Is like less than $1.50 in SG??!!
So cheap please! And the entrance ticket is so damn cute lor!

And I finally see sun, despite the fact that I can't open my eyes.

And we manage to catch the infamous panda!


This is Yuan Yuan 圆圆, who is so greedily constantly eating up in the tress.


And this is Tuan Tuan 團 團, who is so lazy and constantly sleeping.
Refuse to see us some more. So upset that it didn't want to take a pic with me. :(


Spotted this at the Panda Gift store.
But George refused to let me buy it! :(
But actually not very cheap, it cost like more than SGD 10! :(


So many so many pandas.

We visited the whole zoo, but I think I will just post some interesting ones and not bored you with all the animals pictures.
But actually, most of the animals are sleeping and so unfriendly to us! :(

Then we head to take the 貓空!
It is a place on top of the mountain, that you had to take a cable car up. The cable car is much more longer and higher as compared to Singapore's. A very different kind of feeling when you are up there, compared to the city. It very peaceful, very quiet here. You can gradually feel your movements here also slower down. Very relaxing with fresh air and nice scenery.

I don't have a lot of pictures to share, afters as the camera battery is showing the red sign. :(

And look at the tickets! They look s much like our old school MRT cards!!

We are in the cable with another 2 couples, which are friends. There is this guy who is damn funny! He was very chatty at first, but as the ride go further and higher, he stopped talking altogether, and looked damn serious! Turned out that he afraid of heights and start to feel stress as the cable car went higher and higher. HAHA! So cute.

AND FINALLY... we reached!!




We had some tea and snacks here.
We didn't roam around much. As per the guide, there are like 20 to 30 overs restaurants over the area. I just decided to go for this, cos I like the name. :)

Generally, the sun set in Taiwan is so much faster as compare to Singapore. When it was like 6 plus, it is completely dark already. Look like 8 plus in Singapore.

A night view of Taipei to end our 貓空 journey!

We headed to 五分埔 next. A balance of culture and shopping day! HAHA!
No pictures of it for you. It was quite squeeze with tons of people that day. If you had been to BKK, this look just to the weekend market, but of wider street. But it so dangerous, cos anytime a motorbike can just come into the street. And they are so reckless! They just want to bang thru at the fastest speed that they can. So if you are not careful, you will probably injure yourself.

It was quite tiring trying to walk though the whole place. And the thing wasn't very cheap. I even spotted inspired bags that are selling like a few hundred SGD there! Didn't bought a lot and we decide to leave for dinner!

We finally arrive at 淡水!

It was drizzling and mad cold, especially this area is near to the sea/water or something.
I thought we are going to die there, seriously!
And the most stupid thing is that, we thought we could walk to the 渔人码头, but it was so far away!
Lucky I manage to spot this:-


We took the 红26 and it reaches our destination within minutes!

We didn't manage walk it either.
It was far far too cold, that we wanted to hit inside the shelter at that moment.
Toilet would be the best warmest place at the moment, despite it being stinky!

Before we know it, we are on our way back to 淡水 station already.

We decide to roam around this area before we head back.
A lot of things to see and shop, that we didn't took a lot of pictures! Too busy!

We could never get enough of it totally!

Walk around, see see look look, bought a couple of stuffs and back to hotel.

Last week wasn't a very good week for me.
Too many stuffs happening all around, the stress and all.
Retail therapy did make me feel a teeny weeny bit happier!

I have a small meet-up with Eden.
The fellow just got back from Korea and I was overwhelmed with gifts!
I felt just like a little kid, overjoyed with new stuffs that she had on hand.

Very different from what we had here.
Our is always topped with oyster sauce, but in Taiwan, is with meat sauce and meat bits. Nice.

Love the soup totally. I actually want a thinner kind of noodles, but I got this tang-hoon alike noodles.
Not bad I would say.

Not exactly the cheapest meal thou, cost about S$10 plus for the whole meal, but fulfilling totally.

After breakfast, we decided to go visit and do some praying at one of the temples in Taipei.

If you been looking at Taiwan drama series, this is the place where 换换爱 is being film! :D

The location of this shopping mall away from 西门町 and there a sense of calmness and peacefulness all around. A total different feeling altogether.

Our very 1st stop, to look for food and we spotted this..




阿忠面线
Even if you never been to Taiwan before, I bet you also had heard for this.
This is so ultra famous and is packed with people, that we have to queue and give it a try as well!

It about NTD20 different in cost, roughly about an dollar.
This is damn good stuff seriously, MUST TRY!
Unlike those in Singapore with oysters, this is with pig intestines. But fret not, it has no stinky feeling or anything and a non-pork lover can, like me, take it as well! Absolutely delicious.

This drinks stall have been featured on Taiwan variety show so many times that I recognize it on the spot immediately when I saw it!


白苦瓜 is spotted almost everywhere, but I never dare to try it!

We decided to settle down at 大头龙 to have a quick bite.

This is different from we had we had here.
The sauce on top of the egg, plus the bigger size of oysters! Absolutely delicious.

Traveling has always been our common interest and hobby.
And finally we managed to get a dream desired location, TAIWAN!
We has been seeing so much about it, excited very much.

But you never know how many complicated we go. Haha.

But it was a hell loads of experiences totally, and I'm glad it was you who I experience it together with! :)

So... here we are departing on a Wednesday night after work.
Super mad rushing, and Tiger Airways flight got delay.
Not only that, baggage got exceed, long q to pay for extra baggage, almost missed my flight.
Exciting right before took off, abit -.- thou.





It suppose to be an 8.30pm flight. But due to bad weather condition, the fight delay till 9.30pm instead, and it didn't took off till like 10.30pm. Super long wait. We had fun entertaining ourselves inside the flight. :P












And somebody got bored and decide to..


Bio air stewardess forgetting all about my presence.
AND LOOK, he grinning to himself. *Angry*
But I still love you many! *Emo*

Anyway, but the time we reach KL's LCCT airport, it was like close to 12am already. No plans for the night. We didn't even book any hotels before hand, since our flights are like close to 9hours later. But was damn tired and wanna to rest much, hence George suggest to go find some budget hotel at KL Sentral.



Hence we bought the Aerobus tickets at RM14 for each.
Aerobus is like a coach services that brings you from the airport all the way to the heart of KL. If I'm not wrong, RM14 is one of the cheapest around that you will be able to find.
The journey from the airport to KL Sentral is about an hour, and by the time we reach there, it was about 1am already. The streets on KL Sentral is so empty and lonely that we were so afraid. Heard and read about too much robbery cases, and we decide to stay at the Mac indoors and anticipating for 3am to come to go back to LCCT airport again.



So there we are sitting at Mac gobbling down food at unearthly hours..
Actually the purpose is for this..

The absent-minded me throw it away when I was clearing the table after eating. :(

Somebody got bored and start...

Bio-ing at other girls AGAIN! *tio caught once again!*

There quite a few people at the Mac, guess most of them are awaiting for the bus/services to start working. And the funny part is, they allow people to sit inside without buying any food, but then, you are not allowed to fall asleep there or even lie down with your head on the table. And I really saw the Mac staff telling this guy off. How amusing at 1st sight!

Spent the rest of the night using wifi, chatting, disturbing each other, observing people till it finally reach 2.50am. The time literally felt like crawling at that moment., but quality time spent. We took the 1st bus at 3am for an hour journey back to LCCT airport. 4am at the airport and it doesn't seems to be an empty ghost town, but on the opposite! Was surprising thou, cos we took quite a while to be able to find a seat. The seats are so full that people are sitting on the floor, hugging their luggage to sleep. Another amusing act totally! But really interesting thou.

Napped for 2 hours and decided to go for breakfast!

Within a short time spam of 12 hours, I had like 3 meals already!
Damn solid, cos all the diet plans fails and I grew even more! Oppps :x




FINALLLLLLLLY, we can check in now. YAY!


And Airasa is damn cool! Self check-in kiosk!
It looks so simple and fuss-free! Shall try it on my next trip via Airasia. :D

My flight of the day.
Actually no pictures is allowed when going on-board, such a rare chance, so I must snap it too, despite the rain. *Kaisu*

Slept though the whole flight journey, and when I open my eyes, I was greeted with this:-

Baby order this while booking the tickets cos he scare I will go hungry during the flight. Awwww, so sweet right?
But the fact is that it is cheaper to d pre-book than order on the spot. -.-

Took the 国光bus from the Airport all the way to the Central of Taipei.


Within minutes, I fall deep asleep into lalaland.
It was an one hour journey, best time to get re-charge for the rest of the day!




At the bus terminal, awaiting for bus to 西門町 area where our hotel is located.

Such cute and adorable packing, how come Singapore don't have? I could drink it everyday!

Finally after a while, we finally board the bus, reach the hotel, check-ed in, unpacked and we hit the streets of 西門町!





Enjoying the cold wind in the middle of the street, listening to the hustle bustle surround all around.
At 11 degree that night, no doubt it was freezing for the both of us, but then our hearts are warm from the company of each other in a foreign place. Excited much.
